Lately I've been seeing a lot of spam get through on my Yahoo! e-mail account. Now I see what their tactic is... They want you to pay $20/yr for spam protction...

That just doesn't set well with me. I mean, if you have good spam protection, why not give it to all your customers? If Yahoo! gets the reputation that they're nearly impossible to spam, spammers will be less likely to clog Yahoo!'s servers with junk e-mail.

I assume they've thought it over and have a good reason for it (business-wise), but I just wish they'd give all their customers the best spam protection they can.
