While PRNewswire is the service most people use, they don’t have the best web delivery – at least from an SEO perspective. PRWeb does a much better job of distributing press releases on the web.

While you would think Google would use what it’s learned in ranking images for image search when it presents images in it’s “Universal Search” – that’s not the case at all. Bottom line – image search results are far better than Universal Search.

Google Webmaster Tools has an option to set the crawl rate for your site. I’d never seen “faster” enabled as an option until I was working on a web site for a non-profit animal shelter.

Sometimes the number of pages Google reports as being in it’s index for a particular query will be vastly different on the first page of the search than on pages deeper into the results.

Our test to put up 166,000+ pages all at once is looking good… Quite a few pages have been indexed by Google.
