Could someone please explain the logic behind this page to me? “Your e-mail address has been confirmed” followed immediately by “Please confirm your e-mail”?

It clearly says I’ve confirmed my e-mail address, so why am I being asked to confirm my e-mail address again? It’s basically a circular loop… Given the resources behind YouTube, you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue.

However, if you give it a few minutes everything goes back to working… Still…
