Google Webmaster Tools’ new geo-targeting feature can be used to geo-target multiple sections on the same web site. The basic idea is to set up multiple sub-sites in GWT, and then geo-target each of those sub-sites. The limitation is that each sub-site must be completely contained in its own directory.

For a while now the City Room Blog on nytimes.com has had a PageRank of zero. I wonder aloud how this could be and ultimately find the answer (an incomplete PageRank update).

It is possible to see big drops in traffic from Google Images if you modify the file names of your images or change the images in some way.
