Google Webmaster Tools’ new geo-targeting feature can be used to geo-target multiple sections on the same web site. The basic idea is to set up multiple sub-sites in GWT, and then geo-target each of those sub-sites. The limitation is that each sub-site must be completely contained in its own directory.

Google Webmaster Tools has an option to set the crawl rate for your site. I’d never seen “faster” enabled as an option until I was working on a web site for a non-profit animal shelter.
