Google Alerts is currently going crazy with “related” search results. The results have been way too many messages in my e-mail inbox, so I’ve turned off all the related alerts.

It’s important to fulfill your customer’s needs and not constantly spam them and try to get them (or trick them) into even more promotional e-mail they don’t want. Curiously, some big reputable companies (like Canon) just don’t get it.
